The University of Basra participates with the General Secretariat of the Holy Military Shrine and the Samarra Heritage Center in its third international scientific conference under the slogan (The Holy Military Shrine) in Samarra, the metropolis of thought and heritage).
In cooperation with the University of Kufa / Faculty of Jurisprudence and (25) Iraqi universities, including the University of Basra, on: 11/16/2023 AD.
Conference themes:
1- Quranic, doctrinal, hadith, jurisprudence, linguistic and literary studies.
2- Studies on the imams of Samarra (peace be upon them) and the ladies of the house of prophecy in the holy city of Samarra.
3- Studies on the scientific seminary in the holy city of Samarra.
4- Historical, geographical, economic and social studies.
5- Engineering and architectural studies. Studies in the written and documentary heritage.
6- Studies in biography and media. Archaeological, heritage and tourism studies.
7- Studies in scientific works in the holy city of Samarra.
8- Oriental Studies.
9- Legal, political and media studies.
Participation conditions:
1- The participating researches have not been previously published or participated in any other conference.
2- The research should be related to one of the conference themes.
3- The research participating in the conference is subject to scientific evaluation and electronic survey (turnitin).
4- The research should be in accordance with the scientific guidelines recognized in the scientific conferences.
5- The research papers, their summaries, and the scientific biography of the researcher should be sent printed on (A4) paper with a disk (CD), or sent electronically.
6- The search pages shall not be less than (20) pages.
7- The deadline for submitting research abstracts is 15/7/2023.
8- The deadline for submitting complete research is 1/9/2023.
9- The conference will be held on 16/11/2023.
