Within the cultural and scientific cooperation agreement recently signed between the University of Basra and the Iranian University of Ferdowsi, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Habib Abdel-Wahab, head of the Student Activities Department, accompanied a delegation from Ferdowsi University represented by Dr. Muhammad Tabatabai, Director of the Planetarium at Ferdowsi University, and Mr. Mehdi Ameri. The delegation visited the Planetarium and the General Secretariat of the Central Library and was briefed. The Theses and Dissertations Unit, the Anecdotes and Manuscripts Unit, and the Global Corner. The delegation praised the electronic services available to students and researchers on the library’s official website.
The delegation then visited the Center for Studies and Teaching of the Persian Language, where the delegation was briefed on the center, the courses it holds, and other activities, including the electronic library project linked to the Holy Shrine of Razavi Library.
