The Persian Language Studies and Teaching Center holds a cultural festival under the title (Births of the Bright Moons)

The Center for Studies and Teaching of the Persian Language, in cooperation with the Department of History at the College of Arts at the University of Basra, held a cultural festival under the title (Births of the Bright Moons) on the occasion of the birth of Imam Hussein, his brother Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, and Imam Zayn al-Abidin, peace be upon them, in the theater hall of the College of Arts. The festival was attended by a number of professors and students. The university and a delegation from the Cultural Attaché of the Iranian Consulate in Basra were a guest at the festival.
The festival began with a fragrant recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the playing of the Republican anthem and a minute’s silence for the souls of the happy martyrs. After that, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyed Abd al-Sahib al-Moussawi, former agent of Sayyed Khamenei in Beirut and director of cultural centers in Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and Syria, took the stage, where he delivered a valuable speech that addressed the virtues of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, during which he praised the spirit of cooperation between the two countries, Iraq and Iran, and the extent of ties and brotherhood, whose roots extend deep into history.
After that, the throats of poets, praisers, and pioneers resonated with love for the People of the House, peace be upon them, singing the sweetest poems of love and loyalty, and their faces were decorated with smiles of joy and pleasure on the occasion of auspicious births. At the conclusion of the ceremony, gifts were distributed to the participants.
