The Persian Language Studies and Teaching Center received a group of professors and students from the University of Basra. At the head of the delegation was Dr. Ayman, Head of the Audio and Visual Department at the College of Fine Arts, and Dr. Faisal Ghazi, Head of the Follow-up Department at the University of Basra.
Professor Maytham Muhammad Saadoun, Director of the Center, provided an introductory overview of the Center, its tasks, and the courses it provides to the University of Basra in teaching the Persian language, in addition to other courses and workshops. The Director of the Center added that the Center is making its utmost efforts to provide the best for our generous university, including the Center’s efforts and success in opening... An electronic library in cooperation with the Razavi Shrine, where more than 300 million sources, books, and research in various sciences and languages are available.
After introducing the delegation to the center, Mr. Najm Abdel-Wadud Al-Jazairi proceeded to introduce the delegation in a practical way to the most important websites and electronic libraries available to researchers and how to obtain any research or source and download it for free in the center’s electronic office.
